Who is the "Restrainer" the Bible talks about in 2 Thessalonians 2:6? Second Thessalonians 2:6-7reads, "And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way." Who is this restrainer?
During this unique period of history, the restraining role of the Holy Spirit can be seen as a special blessing. His work allows Christians to continue to share the good news of Jesus as Lord with all who will listen, allowing many others to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
