| Dear Friend, I hope you’re making plans to join me tomorrow for a day of fasting and prayer for America. There’s so much at stake for our nation in the upcoming election, and there’s so little time left. Let’s call out to God together for His intervention and mercy. He is our nation’s only hope. “‘Yet even now,’ declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.’ Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him” (Joel 2:12–14, ESV). Thank you for praying for America. Don’t lose heart and don’t give up!
